The conference will take place on September 23–25, 2026. It is organized by mathematicians from Kaunas University of Technology and University of Göttingen in honor of Prof. Dr. Hermann Minkowski.
Prof. Dr. H. Minkowski developed the geometry of numbers, advanced the theory of quadratic forms, and introduced concepts such as geometric lattices of integer points. He also formulated and began solving a geometric problem concerning the existence of certain convex surfaces, now known as the Minkowski problem.
Dr. Minkowski held professorships at the Universities of Bonn, Königsberg, Zurich, and Göttingen.
The conference will be held in the historic Aula, A. Mickevičiaus St. 37, Kaunas.
