Invitation to a lecture on photoacoustics

Laser developer UAB EKSPLA and FMNS Dr. Vytautas Kavaliūnas, KTU alumnus, invite you to a lecture on photoacoustics – to learn how lasers make molecules ‘speak’ and learn about the benefits and impact this has on medical innovation.

The lecture „Photoacoustics: The Future of Cancer Diagnostics“ will take place on November 12 at 9 AM, Studentų st. 50–325F room.

Who is it for? Physicists, medical professionals, engineers, future laser specialists, and curious technology enthusiasts alike.

We will discuss:

• Laser technologies and their development;
• What photoacoustics is, its main principles, and advantages compared to traditional imaging methods;
• Photoacoustic imaging as an innovative diagnostic method – from cancer diagnostics to cardiovascular disease and functional research;
