RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE AND SERVICES

KTU Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences invites entrepreneurs to use technological solutions and services developed by the faculty’s researchers and to start joint projects. The technological solutions developed by the researchers of the faculty help to solve various business and industrial problems. Collaboration with business takes place through activities ranging from simple orders and first tests or joint research and development projects.

The faculty conducts research and provides research and development services in the following areas:

  • Application and modeling of mathematics;
  • Application of microsystems and nanotechnologies;
  • Application of physics and materials science.

Order process

  • Customer inquiries are answered within 24 hours.
  • Researchers identify customer needs;
  • A commercial offer is prepared and sent to the client;
  • A contract is signed;
  • Research and / or other services;
  • The innovation created is tested and transmitted to the customer;
  • Procedure for the management of rights arising from the results of intellectual activity at Kaunas University of Technology.
  • KTU has valid Intellectual Property Management and Transfer Regulations, which were updated and approved by the Rector’s Order No. A-273. The Regulations establish the principles and procedures for the management and transfer of intellectual property of the University related to the ownership, development, protection, use, disposal and distribution of proceeds from the transfer of intellectual property to authors.
