Ignas Pikas, a student of the medical physics master’s study program, says that he likes studying at KTU FMNS, because everyone knows everyone here: from teachers to first-year students. According to the student, at the faculty, you can talk or discuss with the professors at any time as if you were with older friends.
“I chose medical physics because we touched a little on the topics of Radiotherapy and dosimetry in our undergraduate studies. The topic of medicine has always been interesting to me, so I chose the Medical Physics study program, which combines both medicine and physics,” says Ignas.
For future students who do not know what to study, Ignas wishes not to listen to prejudices from those around them and to carefully review the subjects of the study programs and choose what is interesting and not what is currently popular.
