Students from the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were attending a scientific internship at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural sciences of Kaunas University of Technology.
The students say that they are very grateful to the teaching and teaching staff of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences: “During the internship, we gathered valuable information, expanded our horizons, compared the level of development of European and Asian countries. It was very interesting to know that in Lithuania biomass is already used for heating, while in our country coal and gas are still used.”
Students said that they have understood that Lithuania is actively developing alternative sources of energy, which will be the main energy sources in the future: scientists of “Santaka” Valley and the Lithuanian Energy Institute expanded our horizons, and each of us was able to take the answers to the questions concerning our research. Many thanks to the Vice-Dean of the faculty Živilė Rutkūnienė for valuable advice to us.”
In their free time, the students got acquainted with the city, visited the main sights, went to museums. Also, they organized “Kazakh day” to KTU FMNS community, where they to introduce Kazakh culture, national dishes, snacks and danced folk dance “Kara Zhorga”.
Students from Al-Farabi university says that was a great opportunity to do an internship at KTU FMNS “We would like to once again thank my University and Kaunas University of technology for the opportunity to combine an internship with pleasure.”
