For KTU Students and Researchers – Seminars on Nuclear Engineering from Japanese Experts

21–22 November Hitachi Nuclear Intensive Seminar will take place at KTU Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The course is being organised by Hitachi with Kaunas University of Technology (KTU).

This nuclear Intensive Seminar will focus on advanced boiling water reactor (ABWR) safety and engineering solutions. The Course will be delivered by invited Tokyo Institute of Technology professor and the nuclear energy professionals from modern technology company Hitachi.

Students and staff of all the faculties, and the representatives of other universities and companies are invited to take part in the Course free of charge. Every registered participant will also receive the course summary and will be awarded the certificate.

KTU and Hitachi are successfully collaborating in implementing the educational programme which aims at strengthening the knowledge and skills of current and future nuclear engineering professionals. The Nuclear Engineering Course at KTU assists at accumulating and renewing skills of the nuclear engineering field and learn from good practices from Japan.
